That’s why it’s so refreshing when everyday, regular folks stand up and run for office. Glen Oland is one of those people.
Why Glen is Running for State Rep
I met Glen during COVID. he was shocked and angered by the massive, bludgeoning government control deployed by Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Democrats. I think COVID response opened many of our eyes to the extremism of the Chicago machine that includes graphic sex education for 6 year olds, denying parents the right to know if their 12 year old is having an abortion, and the Illinois SAFE-T Act, an radical social experiment with serious public safety ramifications.
Being mad wasn’t enough for Glen. He wanted to change things. so he decided to run for State Rep, because they make the laws. They can change things.

Glen almost single handedly put himself on the ballot. He has almost completely self-financed his shoestring campaign. Glen knocks the doors. He places the yard signs. In short, he does the work.
That’s the kind of person we want, right? We want someone who doesn’t take anything for granted and goes out to get the job done.
We want someone who doesn’t expect everything handed to them, someone who will toll up their sleeves and get to work.
