Unemployment has been cut in half, from 12.5 percent three days before I took office to an estimated 6.2 percent in July.
I’ve voted to invest Host Fee funds to create more high paying jobs, from the MRO and Woodward, to redeveloping the I39 and Baxter Road corridor to attract and expand more businesses. I voted to invest in the right infrastructure projects to attract new companies to the county.
Working for a small manufacturer, I understand and have experienced the challenges small businesses face every day. I’ve fought to grow jobs and expand our economy. I’ve proposed reforms to focus our host fee investments on economic development funding to grow our economy.
