I wrote a resolution in April to make it clear that host fees should be used for economic development. Host fees should be used for economic development because the more JOBS we attract the better.
Our focus should be growing revenue through job creation, not tax increases. We need to define what economic development is so that we’re investing in the right things. Now isn’t the time for waiting. It’s the time for action.
